New logo and new drivers at the Magny-Cours GP3 test

It’s time for announcements regarding the Ferrari Driver Academy, on the eve of testing at Magny-Cours, which sees three current students of the Maranello academy in action. The school, which is now run by Massimo Rivola and features a new logo this year, has opened its gates to two promising youngsters on the international motor sport scene, Charles Leclerc from Monaco and Frenchman Giuliano Alesi. The former comes from Formula 3 and is preparing to make his GP3 debut with the ART Grand Prix team. This year, Charles will also be a development driver for Scuderia Ferrari. Alesi, son of the famous Jean, has a shorter curriculum vitae: after two seasons in karts and one in Formula 4, he stays in this series with the Trident team. Also part of the that team, but in the GP3 category for a second season, is the “veteran” Italian Antonio Fuoco, also working as a development driver for Scuderia Ferrari. Another existing student is sixteen year old Guan Yu Zhou, from China, who finished second in last year’s Italian Formula 4 Championship, who this year makes his Formula 3 debut with the Motopark team.
